Shot on video?

Does anyone know- was this shot on video? It definitely looks like it. Does anyone know if it was shot on High8? Mini DV?
Dont get me wrong, I'm not knocking the movie for that. Actually, I think it's great that John Schneider made a film this way despite starring in television shows with much higher production values.
