Molly's definitely my favorite. I got her doll when I was little because I loved how she had glasses.

reply

mine's actually Kit, but my favorite movie was Samantha :)

reply

I like Samantha :-) Second favorite is Kit.

reply

Molly was always my favorite. I think it was her whole time period that interested me. She's the doll I got.

reply

Molly-I used to look just like her!

reply

It's a tie between Molly and Addy. Felicity and Samantha were great characters but I loved Molly first and then I got so into Addy searching for her family. I never got into Kirsten (I only read her books because it was my goal to read them all) and I didn't really get into Josefina and Kit. I was "too old" by then.

reply

Kirsten. :-) She was always my favorite growing up. She was the closest to the Civil War and Laura Ingalls (two of my favorite subjects) that they had back in the beginning. It took me probably 15 years, but I finally got my Kirsten doll last year. Kirsten really gets no respect.

reply

I'm too old for American Girl things now, but every now and then I pick up one of the books just to be all nostalgic. I'd say my favorites are:

1. Samantha
2. A tie between Molly and Felicity
3. Kirsten

Kirsten

Felicity was my absolute favorite when I was little, with Samantha up there, too. I liked Addy when they introduced her, and she's become one of my favorites partly because she's a Philly girl and she reminds me of home and because I've re-read her stories and they're just really well written... I still like Felicity a lot, and Molly, and Samantha, though Kirsten's a little lower on the list. Kit didn't come out until I was older, so I never really got too into her stories, or Josefina and Kaya's stories, although I think Kit's a pretty cool character and I probably would have been a big fan of hers as a kid.

reply

Samantha! I was going to audition for the movie, it fell through though, and now I can't stand AnnaSophia Robb (Just kidding about the AnnaSophia Robb part)

I love Jesus and God!
