Spoiler Question for anyone who has seen it

Hi,

Anyone who has seen this movie can tell me?

Does it have the predictable ending, where she overcomes the odds and wins the event?

Does Fiona (Sasha's character) change her ways if/when she loses and apologize for her mean behavior towards Moondance?

Thanks!

Hi Daquint,

Since the original question asks for **SPOILERS**, then I guess it is not a problem if I provide them. But if you don't want to know how this movie ends, PLEASE DO NOT READ ANY FURTHER! THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS!

Yes, this movie is pretty predictable - but still fun to watch if you don't mind corny and sweet. It is based on a true story, so it isn't too outlandish - watch the special features on the DVD to see an interview with the woman whose teenage experience with her horse, Checkers was the inspiration for this story - I guess it all really happened pretty much like the movie story tells it. The real "Moondance" is married to the film's writer and director, so she had A LOT of influence in the way the story is presented.

The little girl who plays the lead is really cute and Don Johnson is pretty good as the gruff old horse trainer who takes her under his wing. However, I kind of think that some of the storylines were not wrapped up enough - Fiona is left hanging, and we don't get to see if she changes her ways. Also, nothing comes of the Josh relationship - and that was kind of strange, considering how much Moondance liked him.

All in all, I liked this movie. I don't care for the stylish, high action, sex and violence that gets cheap attention for some movies. I just like light entertainment for relaxation, and this fills the bill for me. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but fine for me.

This movie was charming. No violence, sex or destruction. Kay Panabaker, Don Johnson & Lori Loughlin were wonderful. It's a fun movie and so what if it's a bit predictable. In an unpredictable world, sometimes predictable is nice.
