These people on these boards must of made this movie. Horrible movie...

I seen alot of these people say that this is a ten movie and its great. These people are obviously the producers and actors in it.
All you guys are obviously the filmakers trying to promote this movie. I had 5 people at my house start to watch this with me. 2 People walked out after 15 min, and the others said to fast forward it. We tried to watch it, but everyone started to leave and watch other things. This was horrible. The actors could not act, especially the police officers. You saw one smiling and grinning while his partner was shot and he was dragging him out. It was a little better produced than my high school tv production class movies.

Yes, alot of filmakers come here and make phony posts saying there movies are good. I agree, this movie was pretty bad. I thought it was funny to, when the cops partner got shot and he was dragging him out with a big grin on his face. These guys acted like they were in a high school tv production. I liked how they made tyrone jackson and the white girl teamup. Ghetto and ghosts do not mix guys.

You and an inteligent comment don't mix. You can make a better movie? Do it! You can write a better script? Do it!!! I am sick and tired of comming on these websites and searching for some honest reviews or comments about inde films and all I hear is third grade taunting. You are all weak! Come back when you've done something with your lives, maybe then you can have a real perspective on people's hard work.

Hard work? I made better movies in my high school year of tv production.
And it didn;t involve a thug siding with supernatural things.

Prove it! if you're so good, why isn't your movie in thousands of stores across the country? Why isn't your brilliant high school masterpiece making it's way across the ocean and being translated into fourteen diffrent languages so the entire filmgoing population can sit back and bask in your stunning moviemaking prolification and weep for joy at the sheer pleasure of being in your presence???
Oh yeah, that's right, you need to make a good movie first...no, wait, you need to make ANY movie first. Any movie that has more of an audience than your parents and your Myspace friends and that you have the balls to put out there for idiots like you to criticize! Once you can claim that, then maybe you can throw some stones, but first you'd have to grow some!

runner -- r u connected with the production of this movie in any way, including financially..?

i think you make valid observations but if u have a bias u should declare it.

if any commentators here have a bias they should declare it eg: if you are a theater owner.

i havent watched the movie yet but i know for sure there's a lot of crap movies out there especially from hollywood. 99% of hollywood is crap. and most of it isn't even talent - its just gimmick marketing.

so dont go defending western movies or how the west makes them.

No, I'm not connected to this film, this just happened to be where I got pissed off. But I am in the film industry and it's easy to say that hollywood turns out crap because it spend millions of dollars to promote that crap but it also produces good movies from small filmmakers who are trying to get their stories out there and because film, like music, has become another disposible medium we are left with high school critics who think that "Taladega Nights" is a masterpiece.
Every country turns out crap movies, it's just a fact. Hollywood just happens to be the mecca of movies so they turn out a larger number of turds than the rest of the world. But the only reason that they turn out crap, THE ONLY REASON, is that they make money. If people didn't buy the tickets they wouldn't make the movies.
And this movie "Slip' may be crap, it may be a bad film to some people, I liked it and I can appreciate what these people did for such a small ammount of money but if it is crap, tell me what yo didn't like, tell me how it compares to other movies of the same budget range. I compared it to a film from the same distributor called "Champaine Gang" which had more money and a cast of four good looking women as the leads, how can you go wrong? That movie was a typical low budget B-movie that had a weak story, boring shots, bad acting and made no sense. to me , that's a crap movie. "Slip" avoided those pitfalls for the most part and for that I commend them.
And I will always defend good movies, wether they are from the west or anywhere else.

As I said before, I'm not involved with the film but I have talked with the people who are and I don't blame them for not sending a two faced liar any free stuff, if you have to hide behind two diffrent screen names then you know your an ass or else you'd be up front about your opinions. I haven't changed my name. So enjoy your little LOL before you go finish your homework. Let the adults handle the real conversations. Nitey-nite.

Wow, that's even worse. " A systems administrator"? At least if you were a kid I could forgive the rediculous remarks you've been making. And if your reading skills were beyond 2nd grade you'll see I said "FREE" stuff, not paid for stuff. I don't know if you sent money to these guys or not, all I know is they said your a liar. You don't like it, take it up with them. As far as your butt licking dog is concerned, I was compleatly wrong about you, you are a great writer, in fact you'd better go register that idea with the writers guild before Dreamworks snatches it up! Wow, what a talent. Unfortunatly, my next movie is about a systems administrator who spends all of his time on message boards, telling everybody how lame and stupid they are until he wakes up one day and finally realizes that HE is actually the one who is lame...so sad... I'll call it Sad can't sing. LOL

Wow, these guys really get into it.

I don't know. I enjoyed the film. Nothing amazing about it but I think if they had some real money they could have made a more interesting film. I liked the ideas. Some of the acting by that main girl sucked but me and my friends had a good time. That shotgun through the gutt was awsome! :)

What a loser, you are. It's "could have," not could of. What IS "could of," anyway? Also, it's ever heard of spellcheck.. Not "ever hear of spell check."
