HOHH had a few problems, but this sequel was a disaster

HOHH had a few problems, but this sequel was just terrible.

That's the understatement of the year. This movie was atrocious. They couldn't get ANYTHING right in this movie that was from the last movie. Where are all the doctors and nurses who assist Vannacutt? Why is the only nurse in the whole place some slutty deranged Betty Boop instead of a serious looking faculty member? Where's the tank of blood? The saturation chamber? The glass cages with human corpses (and one guy on a horse) in them? There was no main control room and WHY is lockdown in the basement now instead of the attic? Where'd the moat come from? And the crematorium? And why does Dr. Vannacutt look like Stephen Price in this one? Where're his glasses? Where'd that long curly hair of his come from? Ghosts don't age and they don't change their appearances. NONE of it made any sense.

I thought the character "Desmond" was just entirely too stupid. I mean NO ONE acts that dumb. The part where he starts shooting at Michelle was one of the most idiotic scenes i've ever seen.

I'm inclined to agree...after that wrestler is pulled into little itty bitty bits all he can say is it's a trick. They pulled a HUGE man into little splatters of flesh and blood and innards, that's one HELL of a trick to have no reaction to.

It didn't even feel like the same house. The outer design was the same, and it had the same entrance area and the closing panels, but it didn't feature any of the other rooms from the first film, losing the feel of it being a true sequel.

well, in his defense Novastar Desmond wasn't there to see that happen. All he saw was a huge pile of blood. But the scene he's chasing Michelle, yeah absolutely awful.

But a lot of things in this film are really awful.

Of course that isn't exactly something new, all the time in movies some character, particularly the villain, who has somehow remained so...neutral towards everything up to a certain point starts to feel the walls closing in on him and he suspects everyone around him, including those working with him, and a lot of times, he does do something stupid like that...maybe not to THAT extent, but all the same, all of a sudden going apesheit and shooting your partner has been done before.
