Legality of using Trademark Name???

Just watched this movie with my roommate and we came across the scene where the Geology Professor states that she is from the "University of Hawaii at Manoa". Is it legal for this movie to use a trademark college name in a movie? I wouldn't have a problem if this movie was good, but come on this movie was crap and a terrible representation of Hawaii!!!

Also I can't believe how terrible Kelly McGillis has aged!!! haha
