whats with the title? what does it refer to in the movie/story?

The fact is that it can be many things but the main reason would be that Phillip asks Kari once more, to go with him to Paris. He wants to experience the first time they went to Paris once again. But things aren´t the same and never will be. And Kari really doesn´t want a "reprise", she just want to start all over again. Have a new start, not a reprise.

But it have anything to do with phillips visits to the mental hosptial.

i also figured the movie itselve is a reprise
i mean in the first 5-10 minutes the whole story is told

at least: how it could happen
the distinction betweek real and surreal is quite vague in the film

the 100 minutes seem like a reprise to the story that is told the first 5 minutes
