Why would LEGO make a video game or playsets for an R-rated movie series like The Matrix?

A Lego Goodfellas would be interesting. Not saying Lego should start making products on R rated movies. But there are plenty of franchises out there that would make excellent Lego related video games.
Lego Pirates of the Carribean. The game would be like Lego Star Wars. Only you'll use Lego pistols and swords to fight against the Royal Navy, Skeleton pirates, Davy Jone's crew, etc.
Lego Ninja Turtles. If they can have the Live Action Movies, Old-School Cartoon, New School Cartoon, & the CGI movie as playable levels, then that be a must buy for any Turtle fan.
A Lego James Bond would also make an excellent video game. Containing all the recent films as playable levels, unlock the villians and heroines as free play charaters, and portray as all the different Bonds.
With Traveler's Tales working on Lego Indiana Jones: Video game and Lego Batman video game. I can predict there being other possible Lego related video games in the near future.
Lego Lord of the Rings would be kick ass.
And I agree about Pirates, the film has the right tone for a Lego gmae.

Lego Star Trek
Indiana Jones: "Tomorrow I'll steal you another one."
Lego X-men.
With each of those characters having different abilities it could be really interesting.
And yeah, LOTR would kick some serious butt, as would the Hobbit.
They had Lego Spongebob toys, it's a shame they didn't make a video game, that might have been really cool.
