The plot summary?

Honesty................wtf?

A very piss poor summary.

"Unlike most films that chronicle contemporary African-American life which feature one or several recognizable actors 'Steppin' has a cast of 25 of the most popular, highly acclaimed, in demand stars in the industry with exceptional performances in this hilarious romp set on a university campus."

A "cast of 25"?- who? Uncle Philip from 'Fresh Prince'?, -when was Reginald VelJohnson "in demand"- dont get me wrong, I love the guy.

"Against this backdrop there are numerous sub plots involving the meeting and maturation of a love relationship, a kidnapping, an avenging abused co-ed (women in various test audiences actually applauded this scene) fraternity initiation rites, great step scenes, an off the chain sound track and an overall funny take on the antics of students and faculty alike."

The summary seems a little too...........long, ..........drawn out......and filled with extra and irrelevent information (IMDB readers actually nodded their heads in agreement with that last statement).

'an avenging abused co-ed (women in various test audiences actually applauded this scene)'.....wtf? How is it relevant to plot if women clapped at a particular scene.

Just wondering if anybody else found this plot summary to be an oddity, although an amusing one at least.
