Looks like a good move
I'm looking forward to seeing this. Improv is usually used for comedies -- it'll be interesting to see how it looks in a drama, and an intense one at that.
shareI think the premise has promise, especially with Andy's involvement. I envision a scenario where the actors are given their characters' backgrounds and motivations, allowed to develop them on their own, and then thrust together to develop the story within a sparse but well-directed set of guidelines. If everyone is as good at Method as Andy, the tension created should inspire some truly riveting performances! Can't wait to see the results!
