Similarities to 'Closet Land'

Reading the plot summary, I couldn't help but think of a film from a few years ago called "Closet Land," starring Alan Rickman and Madeleine Stowe. I hope I'm not the only one, but does anyone know if they're similar?

Don't know that one, but it looks more Orwellian, whereas this seems to be Kafkaesque. Closet Land appears to have a specific point to the interrogation, one we would associate with the twisted logic of a police state, whereas this one seems to have no sense to it, rather the incessant punishment that leads one to stop doubting in his own guilt.

But I could be absolutely wrong. I'd have to see both films.

closet land was a great movie. part of what made it so good is that there were only two people in it, alan rickman and madeline stowe.

i think any movie involving a hardcore interrogation will draw comparisons to closet land and the interview, and australian film starring hugo weaving.

to me, these two movies set the standard for an interrogation film.

actually it's identical to the movie Rendition. exact same story line.
