Anyone want to talk about the film?

There isn't one thread on here discussing Extraordinary Rendition on it's merits as a film. Which is surprising as it doesn't really have many and that normally means people will be queueing up to slag it off.

The dialogue (when you could hear it) was dreadful, the background story so vague, the characterisation lazy, the editing confusing, the ending bizarre and the general plot so implausible that it suggests no research was done whatsoever. Did they want to make a horror film or a statement? All they seemed to achieve was making some torture porn and using a few artsy filming techniques.

Awful.

Now, that ought to get the ball rolling.
