The Indian won awards for Best Screenplay (James Gorrie) and Best Supporting Actress (Jane Higginson) at the 2007 Breckenridge Festival of Film, with terrific audience response.

This movie NEEDS to be seen by the general public - Matt Dallas has a fairly decent fan base, it?s obviously a good movie that has a sweet message. Enough of the supposed blockbuster summer movies, give me a decent independent movie any day.
