pretty good movie..

one of the reviews said " I watched this movie 3 days ago and I am still thinking about it."

(a few Spoilers)

yeah me to.. but mainly because I'm still wondering if Martin would have sent that hot Gloria chick her money back. He really *beep* her(and not in the sexual way) at the end of the film to get the plane ticket money. I think he kinda owed her some money back out of all the people who got conned. He doesn't really say a lot towards the end of the film.. it left me kinda annoyed.. at least Clarence gets some money back and has a few things to say about the guys who conned them..

Would have been better to see a scene with Clarence kicking some ass :D this movie really could have done with an extra 5-10mins to clear up a few things... I guess thats what leaves you thinking about it..

Anyway definitly want to see more movies with Gloria(Tricia Paoluccio) and Clarence(Kene Holliday) think they both played their roles really well.

the scenes with gloria (tricia paoluccio) are crucial in showing how talented, ordinary people go unheard every day, and how much of a con martin and clarence are really involved in. she's the apex - to me - of a bunch of people who really have something going in this movie. i sure hope that martin found a way to get gloria her money back.
and, as he alluded to after her audition, that she would get more (genuine) auditions...

clarence (kene holliday) has some of the best dialogue in the movie. the scene where he and martin part ways (before martin gets the money from gloria) is the most intense moment in the film.

I thought the movie was fairly well done. Not a barn burner, but the idea was well executed and the "amateur" feel to it added much. I've been trying to figure out the ending though////....could it be that he had an idea after he started humming the new national anthem? Did he perhaps think about producing the song since it was so "catchy", he started humming it unconsciously? He certainly looked to me like he had an idea, and the song was the one that tipped the scales for Martin concerning the bogus "job". Then the movie closed with a full produced version of the song. If the ending, just ended....then it was lame, but if he really did think about producing the song, to me....that lends some hope to the whole sordid affair of ripping off untalented (and in the case of Gloria, very talented) people who are desperate to be heard. Just a thought......
