Interesting moment in the film...

The scene where Martin climbs into bed with his girlfriend after they had their argument was very life-like to me...

He apologizes... She acknowledges his regret... and then when he tries to snuggle... she pushes him away -- "Get off me, I can feel your heart."

There's just something sad about that scene... and I don't know what it is... The girlfriend character is kind of complicated in my opinion and I can't quite figure it out... Any ideas what that scene means?

No, she says 'Get off me, you're hot'.

Sounded more like "Get off me honey, you're hot." to me.

She's upset and doesn't want to be in any way physical with him. She says they'll talk about things the next day, so obviously things are not resolved in her mind.
