Storyline is good...acting is terrible

As I am interested in Turkish history, and how people lived in Turkey in the years of WW1, I watched the movie.
I think the movie could be much better with the right director, Semir Aslanyürek did not do a good job here...
The story is good, but the actors and the director really messes it up.
The recent 5.4 imdb-points is not the real grade in my opinion.
