What is everyone talking about?

What the hell are Always Sunny In Philadelphia and The Office? Are they shows on the internet or something? I think if something on the internet is similar to something on TV, it probably ripped off the TV show, because anybody can put something on the internet but to get on TV people actually have to like your show...
