you can pretty much say a good bit of tv/movies are rips offs of something...
I watch it for the humor...I like this type of humor and I like It's Always Sunny and the Office and Community so why all the negativity? If you don't like it then don't watch it. Don't jump on the boards and complain about how it is just like other shows or that you don't think it's funny. DON"T WATCH IT!
Well, everyone's entitled to their opinion. Sometimes people come on these boards to troll for responses, but other times people come on to complain as a way of debating and trying to find out what others liked about it.
I know I've done that on some forums in a way of trying to find out why people liked Twilight so much. I didn't troll but I did complain as a way of trying to understand the fandom. As a result I've come to completely love the Twilight fandom. There were a few who went the "don't watch it you hater" route, but most were willing to debate with me and tell me why they personally loved the movie.
As far as watching the show goes, people have to watch it in order to make a decision, right? One episode might be bad but many will keep watching in order to see if it'll become good for them. If they were to only watch one episode then you'd say "but you have to watch more episodes in order to give it more of a chance!"
