I'm looking at the Laemmle Theater coming soon list. It shows the pet opening on 12/02/06. http://www.laemmle.com/viewmovie.php?mid=2735

Here's the official movie site: http://www.thepetmovie.com that says the DVD is due 12/05/06.

Hello everyone, I'm happy to say that THE PET was released on DVD on Dec. 5th in the US and Canada. It is available to order through amazon.con, tlavideo.com, dvdempire.com, or any of the internet dvd sites.

If you look on amazon.co.uk, it finds Ace Ventura: Pet Detective.
