I really enjoyed reading these 2 books and also like his other books....some of his Lucas Davenport novels and the Women's Murder Club.
Actually, though the characters are similar, Patterson states in the beginning of the Maximum Ride books, that When the Wind Blows and The Lake House are not about Maximum Ride.
Also, he does not write the Lucas Davenport novels. John Sanford writes those!
I should have known that Sandford writes the Lucas Davenport novels....I'm reading one now!
shareIt's more like the 1st 2 books are the Marvel main comics line while Maximum Ride are like the Ultimate books. They're based around some of the same characters, but are on a different path.
