I feel like it's been a good decade since I've been eagerly anticipating for this to be made into a movie. And then out of the blue I came across the trailer and realised that it has finally happened - with zero publicity and with terrible CGI.
How did it end up becoming a low-budget film? I am really disappointed.
Maximum Ride could have been a good action flick ... well, at least the first book could have been.
Yea man... never heard about it.... watched the trailer and once I seen that terrible CGI... turned it off. Horrid quality in 2016.

Yep, Started reading them abut 10 years ago. Wanted a movie since I read the first book.Found out the possibility of a movie which was around 2008 at this point. And it was just disappointing update after disappointing update. Decided to give up on hopes. Started reading the series again recently after realising I hadn't read the last 3. It had been a while so started from the start to refresh my memory. Had to look up the order of the books as I had forgotten what was after the second one only to come across the teaser and that the movie came out 10 days ago on demand.
So crap publicity, crap budget, crap casting, crap distribution.
