One of the worst YA adaptations ever made

Even by usual YA adaptation standards, Maximum Ride is exceptionally flat and soul-sucking. It’s so by-the-numbers, stale and without risk. Every single plot point is so derivative. It doesn’t even try to do anything different, and considering it follows the book pretty closely, it makes me once again wonder if I just had really bad taste in books ten years ago. http://www.cutprintfilm.com/reviews/maximum-ride/

Trust me, what you enjoyed 10 or more years ago, you'll look back and wonder what you were thinking. Maybe just being jaded, or realizing a young mind accepts things a lot easier than a developed mind.

I loved Godzilla and all those monster movies as a child, but struggle to make it through them if I even bother to watch them.

I just watched this movie for the first time last night. My gawd! I can't remember the last time I saw such a horrible movie, and I've seen some stinkers. I am usually pretty lenient with YA adaptations but this was just...It wouldn't even be suitable for Lifetime or CW. They should have kept this one in the can.

I aim to misbehave!
