FIRST SHOWING!!!

I hear the first public showing will be at OmegaCon in Birmingham, Ala. in March. Not sure of exact day and time yet, but the director, Jim Torres, should be there as well.

Yes, we saw it. Very well done!

The film was screened in LA last week at the Digital Video Festival where it won the Robert Rodriguez Award.

It will also be shown at the Atlanta Film Festival April 19, I think.

could you give some spoilers about the film?

will their be a wide release of the film?

reply

Why would you want to know about any spoilers?

To give away some integral part of the action or characters to someone who's NOT seen the film?

To ruin the movie-going experience for someone else?

I can understand about someone watching a movie & discussing it afterwards with others & possibly giving away plot-points & issuing a "Spoiler-alert" to other readers, so that they don't accidentally read it & learn more than they want to know, but to specifically ask for spoilers seems kind of odd...

Then again, maybe you(Charmqn) don't know what "spoilers" are, and innocently asked in confusion or ignorance.

If that's the case, sorry.

I think this quote is from a combo of the scientist and the great defender sprinkled with a little of the political activist (the part about trying to use words that make them sound smarter.)

The 1st semi public screening was 12/07/07. this was for producers, cast, crew, and press.
It was at the Chan Auditorium at UAH.
I haven't seen the movie since then so some changes may have been made since then.
The acting was great. The story was ok. I hope they fixed one part of the movie that doesn't gel with the rest. The part where Samuel shows David his past is the only thing that doesn't gel. The movie was like Jericho (sci-fi but could happen)
until the mystical stuff was thrown in. This could have been due to hurried editing before the screening. It may now explain Samuel's character and his "abilities" better. If that is fixed the story will be pretty damn good.

Sadly, I don't think this film will ever be "pretty damn good".

Too much not quite right with it. On many levels.

But the music & "feel" of it is/are pretty good.
