The child killer's room was spacious and quite comfortable appearing. I have stayed in expensive hotels with much less space. Also funny seeing the guard walk into his room and hand deliver mail. Read Frank Abagnale's book Catch Me if You Can where he describes a much different version of French prison life.

He killed sixteen Czechoslovakians. Guy was an interior decorator.

We have some modern prisons, and we also have some old prisons (Middle Ages old).

Also as a child killer he was probably not in "general population".
