This is probably the only film where I've viewed her as her character, Christine Collins, rather then Angelina Jolie playing her character. Anyone else think this is her best movie (in terms of her acting)?

i don't know about the miscast part because i had no prior knowledge of the premise of the movie until i watched it. i actually didn't watch it for so long because of angelina jolie and she's never done anything i liked, and definitely not something that she was the star of. i was pleasently surprised with her performance in this tho
shareSame here! I heard of Changeling ages ago but wasn't too sure about watching it because of my personal dislike towards her. However her performance was touching and I don't think she was miscast. It's actually nice seeing her in a film where she's not having sexual relations with anyone... I think this and Girl, Interrupted are her best films.

her performace sends shivers down my spine, she was fantastic. she truely was a mother in this film (sorry for my spelling)
