What the title mean in English?

Yeah, I get the importance of the lone wolf that the girl sees at the end, freedom, nature etc etc.

But is that a real Dutch word in the title? If so, how would it be translated into English? (regardless of how the distributors may or may not re-title the film for U.S. audiences).
