At the end after they come to know of the affair, Revathy's brother talks sense into Amitabh by telling him that Jiah is too young to know what love is. So Amitabh asks her to leave and she leaves angrily with Aftab. Amitabh's daughter goes away to US to study and his relationship with his wife is just formal. He contemplates suicide but decides to live so that he can spend a few more days in Jiah's memory. All this he narrates to Revathy's brother.
I liked the end. It was very understated and slightly abstract but well done.
