TO the entire team at Today Tonight do you go home and say gezzz my job sucks i chase after shonky businessmen and the stories revolving around the quaility of fruit when there are other more intresting issues out there? Why businessmen and fruit? Why not interview our soliders? Send a team to the front lines of Iraq? Explain the dozens of seculuar groups in the conlict instead of protraying them as all as a 'unified' and 'organised terrorist resistance'? THAT would be intresting fruit isnt...

If I was showrunner of either Today Tonight or A Current Affair, you would no doubt see a major overhaul of how these shows report and operate. Unfortunately, I'd get the sack because no one would be interested because the demographics of these shows are mostly working class parents who care diddly squat about the real issues facing Australia and the world today and only care about the latest fat blasting pill and how certain products and common practices may be harming their children. Apparently not good for these networks who are only interested in their commercial revenue.

I think you're being pretty harsh on this show, because, well, um, er, well, because, .......

Come to think of it, it probably really sums it up.

I know someone who works for this show and they have been trying for years to get more interesting stories on TT. At the end of the day though your always going to lose because people will always be interested in trash. It's what keep the show rating.

They do occaisonally try stories on important stuff, but at the end of the day, people love crap.

BTW: There are some reporters who I think really suck, but others who I think are way to good for this show. Most though are crap, and it's very few who I think are too good though. But they are there.
