I have seen few productions as boring as this one...
Looks like it has been made by amateurs! Flat dialogue, slow-paced action (if I can call it action), bad script, bad music, etc – nothing was good!
They should have watched Apollo 13 and learnt something!

Well, unon reflection ... it does have a certain glacial quality to it - as in moving slowly.
shareI don't agree. If anything, it went too fast at times. Important parts of the mission, like the Mars landing, were barely shown as a short sequence. They didn't even show the preparations, Earth launch, Earth landing, the support crew on Earth...
As for the flat dialogue and all that, this show was meant as a realistic, semi-documentary portrayal, not a Hollywood movie.
This was supposed to be a realistic future mission so I don't know exactly what you expected??! Aliens??!!

Well sadly space travel as it is now and for the foreseeable future is SLOW, DULL, and BORING. And this in a way reflects the mundaine existance of the travellers.
One of NASA's big tasks is to evaluate teams of people who will be locked together, with no escape, for years at a time.
