...is what I'd like to see. But not if the americans take over it. I just really want to see a live action Japanese version of a live action Mai-Hime Movie! Any new on that?
...What better place then here, what better time than now...
Here's my idea for such a movie (with a few Caucasians thrown in for good measure)
"My-HiME" (2009) Cast Rupert Grint as Mai Tokiha Emma Watson as Natsuki Kuga Naoki Takeshi as Yuichi Tate Rina Koike as Miyu Greer (credited as Lina Koike) Chisaki Hama as Chie Harada Kay Panabaker as Akane Higurashi Ayaka Saito as Yukino Kikukawa Jim Broadbent as Joseph Greer Miyuu Sawai as Fumi Himeno Alyson Stoner as Mashiro Kazahana Kensho Ono as Nagi Homura Director Hideo Nakata Distributors Walt Disney Pictures, Lionsgate Studios, and The Halcyon Company Rating PG-13 for sci-fi fantasy violence and brief language Music Kenji Kawai Country Japan/USA Language Japanese

Emma watson as Natsuki? I was thinking Jordana Brewster. Watson would be good as Shizuru. What about Milla Johovich as Midori. "I'm seventeen." yeh ryt
Natsuki as Jordana Brewster I was thinking the exact same thing, she has that look to her tho she might be a bit too old to play the role. Demi Moore or Jennifer Connelly could play Natsuki's mom. Emma Watson as Shizuru I'm not sure of, as I've only seen her in Harry Potter, but I'll be so glad if they cast Shizuru as a brit, or an Australian. I hate the way they dub her as a southern girl in the English version. As far as Mai is concerned I think someone like Emma Stone or something, very bubbly and upbeat. Jack Black would probably make a good Sakomizu, Abigail Breslin would maybe make a good Mikoto, Dakota Fanning as Shiho or maybe (I'm sure she'd be good villain considering all her roles are 'good' characters. ) maybe Chiaki Kyuriama as Miyu. Chris Evans would be a good Tate, Rumer Willis or Lizzy Caplan as Nao. For Haruka I'm not sure, perhaps Racheal McAdams. Gabrielle Christian as Yukino. Reito maybe Robert Pattison. Rachel Leigh Cook as Midori. Kristina Kreuk as Chie. Jill Ritchie as Aoi. Lacy Chabert as Mashiro, maybe Zack Effron as Takumi. Diane Gaidry as sister Yukariko.
Though, I agree there really should be a Japanese live action movie (I haven't heard much if they're going to make one) and not a movie taken from American makers ala Dragon ball.
