It's not all that bad, I've seen lots worse

For a cheap B (almost C or D budget) it's not THAT bad a movie. No, there's no girl climbing out of the TV or floating around the ceiling.. but that's what I kinda liked about it. You never REALLY see Llarona... only in bits and pieces. It gives the movie a semi creepy feel.

Now, if you like lots of scares in the first HOUR of the movie.. skip it... The film is EXTREMELY slow for the first hour... and as another poster remarked.. FULL of cliches. (sorry, I don't know how to do that little mark above the "e" lol) Anyway, it's really..and I mean REALLY bad dialogue, and some pretty darn poor execution.

That being said, the story is solid. This is one of those films that you could be watching thinking... I bet with a budget and a few tweaks, this could be pretty good. Let's face it, it's a better story than..

Once there was this evil little girl who didn't sleep that somehow got a video tape made, and she doesn't want you to watch it and if you do she'll kill you! BUT.. she'll make you wait a week cuz you know how travel is these days.... OOOHHH, and she needs a hairdresser worse than anyone I've ever seen!!!....
