i think it'd be better, and it'd totally jumpstart the new disney line.
it's a cgi animation, be wasted by not going to theatres.
everyone knows+likes/loves/hates tinkerbell.

Disney is trying a new approach: Four heavily marketed STVs for the very young female set, with lots of product merhandising wrapped around them. Normally, this is how it's done with a theatrical release. Disney is gambling that the "tween" crowd -- the Hannah Montana and Cheetah Girls fans -- will scarf up the videos and even more of the merchandise. Time will tell. The Mattel people have been doing this for years with CGI Barbie STVs, which are all too obviously made to sell more Barbie dolls and accessories. Disney thinks it can succeed using the same formula with Tink.
