i am a noble fan of GOW and the movie i hope is good but i always try to see who actors would best fit the roles of the characters, sorta of a fantasy line-up, ive have all characters down except Marcus. i cant think anyone good enough to play Marcus for some reason if anyone has a good suggestion then say it.

but as far as actors go, id say ron perlman or mickey rourke are good choices
i think the guy who plays k2 in district 13 looks alot like fenix but dont think hes that great an actor, who knows.

we know he can achieve the physical requirements that a cog solider has and he can act. hes not too much of a star but he is known. if he can pull off an american accent then i think he would be ideal.
I've yet to hear a British/Irish/Scottish actor pull off an American accent. Just as we Americans can't very well pull off a British accent.

Hugh Laurie pulls off an American accent in House M.D. but he's got a heavy British accent in real life. Obviously he wouldn't play Marcus, That was just an example of an actor that can pull it off showing that its possible.

But personally, I believe that no matter who you get, you're gonna have to get John Dimaggio to do his voice. Dimaggio was spot on with the voice he chose for Marcus Fenix. Without that gravly, smokey voice, it just wouldnt feel the same. It wouldnt feel right. But thats just my opinion:P
As for cole, just get the guy who did his voice-over...that guy is spot on in looks and build. Its uncanny!

Mickey Rourke is the first name to pop into mind for me... but I've never really thought about it because Gears of War would not make a good movie. It's a fun game but I wouldn't watch it. Plain and simple, it just isn't movie material.
