GoW = Steampunk?
Just wondering if Gears falls into this genre, even if it is only slightly.
What do you guys think?

Sorry to necropost here.
To me, steampunk is 'retro-future-industrial'. Modern old days. I don't see GoW fitting really into that category.
BioShock certainly does. I think GoW does on the same level that perhaps Star Wars might, but to me, it's just not 'old' enough. It's too modern. Not Michael Bay-modern (The Island etc), but still pretty neat/tidy (and no, I'm not talking about the mess in the streets! lol)
