Krista Starr spin-off
If they made a Krista Starr spin-off of Blade: The Series, it might work. Since Blade: The Series was already more about Krista Starr anyway, I don't see how they could possibly mess this up. Not to mention that many people who watched the show didn't like Kirk "Sticky" Jones' portrayal of Blade, the Vampire Hunter, and, sadly, all of the other supporting characters in the opening credits cast were far more interesting than even Blade himself.
I know, a lot of Wesley Snipes fans hated the show because of Sticky Fingaz, but I mean think about it, if he wasn't on the show, and the show became about Krista, Shen, Marcus and Chase, you know you're lying if you say that you wouldn't still be watching. Sticky was the problem. Jill Wagner wasn't. The show was good. It would have been even better without him.
The way that I would bring the show back is I would make Krista and Shen team up once more once Blade is revealed to have moved on to other parts of the world. Now that Kirk Jones is gone, all that's needed is to move the show out of Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A., and to move the show to where it is really filmed, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Why? Because it's better to be filming in Vancouver and see that it is Vancouver, than to be filming in Vancouver and pretending that it is Detroit. Then, continue on with the story as planned, only now focus on Krista and Shen being vampire hunters, and vigilantes. Then continue with Marcus and Chase being vampire crime lords and focus the story on a fight between Krista and Shen fighting Chase, and Marcus while adding more great ideas to the live action Blade Universe.
And that's it. That's all that needed to be done. The series would be a hit. Sure, there would still be a lot of haters, but if Blade is replaced with the superior Michael Jai White, and if Blade is only a recurring character who makes special guest appearances, like if there is a Marvel Comics super-villain who is too powerful to fight, then the show would be very good.
Oh, and one more thing. As long as that f---ing a s shole Dana White is still in charge of Spike T.V., the show would need to move to another Cable T.V. channel, preferably H.B.O., Showtime or F/X.
Well, I got nothing more. Flame me if you want, I don't care. I just needed to rant and explain my idea for the show to not only come back, but to also actually improve. This is long enough. I got it off of my chest.
