Light skinned and dark skinned...
In one of his shows I remember watching, he went on about how India has a colour chart going from light skinned in the North to dark skinned in the South and then started making several stupid remarks about Tamils and dark skin. While Im not dark myself, I think his stuff is alright but why delve in to such stupidness like that? My parents are from the South and not only are we fair skinned but so are a lot of people from there. Why do North Indians think in stereotypes that everybody down South is dark and inferior to them? It makes me laugh. The issue of complexion is so old and such an embarassing issue that the Indian community still havent managed to get over and he brings it up thinking its funny? He just makes himself out to be stupid....I mean he complains about being stereotyped yet here he is stereotyping South Indians as well as British people in his latest stand up event. Im British and I have never heard anyone talk like the way he makes us out to. Before anyone starts saying "its comedy...blah blah blah"...If you're going to comment on observations, at least make them accurate like Chris Rock or Eddie Murphy does. This fat geezer doesn't have a clue.
