How do you beat Darkseid's second form?
shareThere are four generators around the room that are giving Darkseid his invincibility. Go destroy them. Then fight Darkseid as you fought him before. His attacks are mostly just expanded versions of the first form's (the Omega Beam lasts longer and the fire from the floor has a wider range). Just watch out for the yellow...matrix...thingy...that I've forgotten the name of. It will kill your guys if they get sucked into the vortex, but if you toss it at Darkseid and get him trapped in it, you get some free shots as he tries to pull himself out.
shareI suggest using the pair of Superman and Zatanna. Use Supes heat vision to defeat Darkseid, and have Zatanna heal you from time to time. After you beat the four generators, watch out, because you'll have to fight him one last time, but this time he bring those huge robots with him. Ignore them and just fight off Darkseid. Try to throw the yellow box at him to trap him and get some nice hits while staving off the omega beam.
shareI boosted Superman's power punch as much as possible throughout the game (Maxed out level and high-level damage boosts,) and just kept hitting Darkseid with that. He went down in short order.

Wonder Woman with Ricochet maxed out and plenty of Damage Boosts.Plus she can tie up the big Parademons with Laso Snare to keep them out of the way.
