Can Mary DANCE?

this movie is about dance right?
i like her better in HORROR movies, her body doesnt look like a dancer type.

JENNA DEWAN is good at dancing and acting.

She has said in many interviews that she is a dancer and trained extensively.

Mary will be awesome she is a great actress and they do have training for movies so im sure shell get lots of it

they used a dancer body double for her character

i don't think so. in fhm magazine she talks about how she likes her body because it was toned from dancing ten hours a day for make it happen.

my friend actually filmed most of the harder dance parts for her character

I remember reading that she originally wanted to be a professional ballerina and took lots of dance lessons as a kid before getting into TV acting roles. While I'm sure for a dance movie they used professional dancers for particularly hard parts, I'm sure she did get the part because she was a proficient dancer.

I noticed from the credits that one of Mary's dance doubles was a man and wondered which scenes he was in. Now I will have to re-watch the movie, especially the flipping shots.

Mary has said in an interview, that they had to use a man double to do the flip at the end. And if you check out this picture, you can sort of see the muscles etc ...

This is true, Mary studied both Ballet and Jazz at Joffrey Ballet School, so that's pretty impressive.
She did do a lot of the dancing for the movie, and was pleased at the amount of movements were actually her when she watched the film back. GO MARY!

I have to say, having just watched the latest season of So You Think You Can Dance, that Mary and/or her doubles arent that great.
