Compared to...?

Just saw it on tv yesterday and wow, I can take scary but this was a combination of Twilight Zone/Saw (somehow)/Misery maybe/Elm St...pretty gruesome overall but mesmerizing. Could not stop watching. That scene with the malevolent aide, towards the end, went on a little too long for my sensibilities. Really quite scary!
