I would love to see a 2nd Bobby Lee Swagger movie with Wahlberg

Pretty Weird we never got one. Its critically rated great. It did ok at the boxoffice also

I came looking to see if there was gonna be a sequel. I guess we'll both have to wait. Here's hoping.

I wanna join you guys - fingers crossed he or Mr Fuqua will hear us!

If they do he would probably wreck it cause he's a bigger star now. Back then he didn't have nothing to lose and he gave his all to his role because he didn't "shine" more then any of the co-stars.

I love this movie and his poor acting skills (when he tries to say sorry for when his partner died thinking he could have protected him and his widow slapped him) didn't detrack me from the excellent action or plot.

But not all movies need a sequel. He said he was going to live off the grid where he couldn't be found. So they won't be able to make a sequel with him! Haha!



I absolutely agree. I've seen this movie half dozen times and love it each time. I would love to see a second "Shooter" movie, Mark was great in the first.

I have prob watched Shooter a Dozen times or so. I am more than ready for a sequel.

Stephen Hunter has written several more Bob Swagger books so there are plots available...for example, Bob's father, a WWII hero and dedicated police officer, is murdered so that a character obviously based on Bill Clinton can escape punishment for the rape and murder of a young black girl, and Bob uncovers the conspiracy and out duels the sniper who killed his dad

I really thought this would be a franchise, and wouldn't mind a part 2 with the same Cast (Wahlberg, Peña, Mara)

In a sequel Kate Mara should go naked though.
