world premiere april 29th in newport beach, california

it is done and done. manmaid has been accepted to the newport beach film fest and will screen for the first time at 2:30pm on the 29th of april, 2008 (yes, this month)
hard to say if i will make it down but i shot some behind the scenes stuff on hdv the last 10 days or so of production. what i saw of the production was impressive. jim, the first a.d was a hammer and kept the project on track... it was fun to watch an indie filim production for the first time. no major disasters were apparent from a first timers perspective. looking forward to seeing the film myself for sure.

Outstanding! Hopefully, this film will show up on IFC or Sundance where everyone can see it.

Any chance you could post your behind-the-scenes footage on YouTube?

The scene in the tavern where I grab the blue-suited cowboy off the stage was where I met Greg. Hi, Greg! Monterey Morrissey, also in the cast and one of the movers and shakers of the Film Oregon Alliance, is trying to get ahold of Chris to persuade him to have a screening up here for all us locals who helped.
