Does not do justice to the book, or the actual story

I read the book way before this film came out and I must say, in no way does the film capture the tone of compassion that the book portrays. Downey Jr.'s character in the film was nothing like the actual Lopez that I read about in the book. Needless to say, I was very disappointed in this adaptation.
