Remake of Bachna Ae Haseeno?
The synopsis sounds like this is a remake of the Bollywood movie "Bachna Ae Haseeno" with Ranbir Kapoor. Hollywood copying Bollywood for a change? ;-)

they belong to the same genre,
BUT ghosts is the christmas carol with girls, and bachna ae hasino is so much better, a lot more lively and the story is more fleshed out

Bachna was a drag. Plus he had to travel to like X no of countries to find out his true love.
Either case, both movies were awfully boring, even though Ghosts had something good to offer. I mean, you never see something about Scrooge now, do you?
