I liked the movie, good message but I was kinda confused about his assistant.
She was a ghost then she wasn't a ghost...?

She was a plot device. A poorly written, not well thought-out plot device that was there only to drive the plot forward even though it didn't make any sense whatsoever!

They just had her be the ghost of girlfriends present to give her character more to do in the film.

I think that the only ghosts that were really themselves were Uncle Wayne and the Ghost of Girlfriend’s future.

Everyone else just assumed the identity of girls that would make him pay attention.
