best last line in a movie ever?
seriously, how can one top the simple yet appropriate last line produced by donghwan when looking at the carnage and having to realize his hand is chopped off . . . "FU**!" ha, brilliant!

shareIt was pretty funny. My gf and I had a good laugh over it.
It was Sukhwan who said it, by the way. Donghwan was the older brother.
"He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man" - Dr. Hunter S. Thompson
yeah i loved the line hahaha
shareAs much as I enjoyed City of Violence, my choice for favorite last line in a movie ever goes to a French film called Baxter. It follows the story of a pit bull terrier, who narrates the film with his thoughts. His final words - "Never be obediant."
Wouldn't want to spoil the film for anyone who's yet to see it, but it's powerful stuff...
in the subtitles it said "fu**", but in the english voice over,he says shi* man"
either way, both awesome lines to go out on
English VO's are junk, they always manage to ruin a movie and make everything seem so lame. I am learning korean right now, and while Im not fluent I can string a few sentences together (I also now many swear words). The final line is "*beep*" after he exhales. The subtitles were acurate but *beep* man" makes no sense to me.

Eyes wide shut made 162 million dollars worldwide and is a famous movie, this film dosen't even have a 1,000 votes on imdb and didn't make even close to 162 million dollars...
But anyway, this movie had a great last 20 minutes and the final line was just perfect.
Don't ever call me a kubrick hater, or I will have my droogs beat you to death.
Well I can't really say that since I haven't made it past the 45 minute yet. Man I've tried. Like you Kubrick's my man. But he, and his actors (Kidman really sucked - cruise=actor=never), and I just cant swallow the whole grieving daughter jumps his bones junk. There's hair on that pill and it just wont go down.
So let me amend my man's statement - Nobody, that isn't just fawning over the glory of a fading director/writer SAW OR CARED about Eyes wide shut AND them that did shouldn't be commenting on my dope Korean ironic bloodfest of a movie.
So, there brah -- your droogies just got soap-in-the-pillowcase-beatdown by my maggots (can you hear them moan? oooohhh why? ooooohh!)-his last great movie.
Yeah, it was a great ending. I didn't love the movie but the last 20-25 minutes were excellent.
"What's wrong?"
"Everything."
Once Upon a Time in Mexico
I imported to Korean version aaaagggges ago (the english subtitles arent that great) but the translation is *beep* it" at the end, not just the one word.
