Ha, yes, general announcement over someone (e.g. Laura) during a failing cooking attempt:

Genius!! I wonder if Dave helps write the scripts, because he's natural with the humour.

He's a funny man. I hope he's part of the scripting team. Makes it even funnier then.
He did a "Ooooooooooooooooooooh" raise your handbag type shout at one point the other week when someone was bitching about another contestant. Was brilliantly timed and very very funny.
In the first series, he ad-libbed most of it. Then as the writers got use to his voice and style, they started writing for him.
