Jacksonville, Fl skyline?

As a native J'ville resident. I would like to know why the Jacksonville skyline was chosen as a backdrop in this movie. It shows up when Pi is learning to jump out of the water. Just thought is was cool to see the city in which I grew up featured in a film, no matter what people think about the film..
