OK, I am going to tell you the BEST way to learn Spanish. NO BOOKS, NO CD'S!!! You need to have heavy interaction with "SPANISH SPEAKING" People. I do not know where you live...But in the US, the best areas would be on the east coast...(NY, NJ, Boston, Philadelphia, Orlando or Miami...NY and Miami are the best). The reason being, there is a large population of people from Puerto Rico, Cuba, The Dominican Republic, Colombia, Venezuela and Panama living in the eastern part of the US. And they are a VERY SOCIAL AND FRENDLY group of people. Very festive and love to dance. On the west coast (California, Nevada, Arizona and Texas) ITS MEXICAN!!! I am from East Coast. And I moved to Vegas in 2000. So I have been here for alost 9 years...And I do not have one...I repeat not ONE mexican friend. I never get a chance to practice my Spanish here...Only when I visit family and friends in NY, Puerto Rico and The Dominican Republic do I use Spanish.

So WARNING!!! If your in the West Coast...Good Luck, Mexicans are not a very social or friendly group of people...In NY or Miami you'll learn Fluent Spanish in 6 months.
And have plenty of friends and gain about 50 pounds...THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!
