where exacly in montreal was it filmed?

J'ai travaillé sur le film, la maison se trouve à Laval, le bureau est au stade Olympique, la partie médiévale a été tourné à St-Colombant et à St-Adolphes-d'Howard, la finale quant à elle a été filmé à Rivière-Ouelle dans le bas-st-laurent.

Filmé à St-Adolphe-d'Howard? C'était donc bien le vieux chateux abandoné!

Je suis curieux par contre...Le chateau en question a été construit par qui et pour quelle raison au juste?

not sure if you know french, so the other comment may or may not have helped you, but the house is in Laval, which is off the island of montreal, north of it -- it's like a suburb, I think.
