If this was a serious documentary

then i think documentaries on this subject really needs a segment
about differentiating billionaires from millionaires.

when you think about it, the political status quo in this country is
maintained by treating billionaires like millionaires ....

.... and what I mean by that is that millionaires are taxed at the
same rate as billionaires .... and the problem with that is that it is
regressive.

billionaires are not paying their fair share because the income tax
is supposed to be progressive. when the tax rate is the same from
more or less $250,000.00 up, the people who really work for their
money like doctors, lawyers, small business people are paying
a lot more than the billionaires for several reasons ...

one is that they are paying income tax, while billionaires are not
really being taxed on their capital gains and investment income.
this is really screwing the rich of this country - by the super-rich,
and the rich are totally taken in by it, because they are heir to the
same human intellectual weaknesses everyone else is. If they sat
down and thought about it, they'd get it.

the other is that like the poor are subsidizing the incompetence
of the rich, they rich are subsidizing the incompetence of the super
rich.

the super rich move in and out of "rich" society like terrorists hiding
among civilians ... the American public cannot see them and they
are out of sight our of mind.

when everythign is about money in our lives, we have no freedom,
we have no liberty, and when everyone is extorted to work for the
same corporations just to make work for them and keep their busy
and loyal, we have a situation that is toxic to the human spirit.
